For more than three decades, Bartow Family Resources (BFR) has been helping individuals and families find hope, support, and practical resources during some of life’s most important moments. As a faith-based nonprofit organization serving Cartersville, Bartow County, and communities throughout Northwest Georgia, we are committed to strengthening families, empowering parents, and investing in the next generation.
Since 1989, our mission has remained clear: to provide compassionate support, education, and resources that help individuals and families thrive. Whether someone is facing an unexpected pregnancy, learning how to navigate parenthood, seeking support as a father, or looking for practical assistance during a difficult season, Bartow Family Resources exists to walk alongside them.

Who We Are
Bartow Family Resources is a Christian nonprofit organization dedicated to serving women, men, and families with compassion, dignity, and practical support. We believe that strong families create strong communities, and we are passionate about helping parents build healthy, stable homes where children can thrive.
What began as a small community effort in a local church has grown into a trusted resource serving hundreds of families each year through pregnancy medical services, parenting education, mentoring, fatherhood programs, and material assistance.
Our approach is relational, educational, and transformational. We don’t simply provide services—we build relationships that empower families for lasting success.

Our BFR Academy is designed to empower parents with tools that create long-term family stability and success.
Practical Support for Families
Education and mentoring are important, but we also understand that many families need practical assistance.

Who does Bartow Family Resources serve?
Our medical clinic serves only women. Our BFR Academy serves men and women who are expecting a baby or with a baby under 2 years old.
Are your services free?
All of our services and educational programs are provided free of charge thanks to the generosity of donors, churches, and community partners.
How can I volunteer?
Volunteers can serve in a variety of ways, including mentoring, Dad Coaching, event support, administrative assistance, and community outreach.
