Families Helping Families

Small Acts. Huge Impact. Stronger Families.

Help provide hope, support, and essential resources to local families in need.

Every family needs a support system.

But for many parents in Bartow, Cobb, and Gordon county, raising a child comes without the help many of us rely on. A new parent may not have family nearby, someone to call for advice, or the resources needed to provide everyday essentials like diapers, wipes, and formula.

That’s where Families Helping Families comes in.

This fall, Bartow Family Resources is inviting our community to come together and make sure no family is left behind.

Through our campaign, local individuals, churches, and businesses can provide practical support to families while helping parents build stronger futures.

What Is Families Helping Families?

Families Helping Families is a community-wide initiative created by Bartow Family Resources to connect families who need support with neighbors who want to help.

From August through October, we are inviting our community to take a small act and make a big impact.

Whether you sponsor a family, donate baby essentials, host a community pop-up, or share the campaign with others, you are helping create a stronger, more supportive community for local families.

Sponsor a Family

Support a family. Strengthen Our Community.

For just $50 a month, you can help provide essential baby items like diapers and wipes.

But your impact goes beyond supplies.

Families connected with Bartow Family Resources receive ongoing support through:

  • Parenting education
  • Mentoring and encouragement
  • Practical resources
  • A caring community walking alongside them

Your monthly support reminds families:

“You are not alone.”

Shop for a Family

Already shopping? Consider adding one more item.

Not everyone is ready to make a monthly commitment and that’s okay.

You can still make a difference by Shopping for a Family.

Simply pick up needed baby essentials during your next grocery trip and donate them to help a local parent.

Most needed items include:

  • Diapers sizes 3s, 4s, 5s, 6s, & 7s
  • Wipes (with the flip top)
  • Formula

One extra item in your cart can become a moment of hope for a family nearby.

Our goal? 200 families in our program sponsored.

Why Families Need Support

Every family has a story.

Many parents are working hard to provide for their children but face challenges they never expected:

  • Parenting without a support system.
  • Growing up without healthy family examples.
  • Struggling to afford basic baby necessities.
  • Balancing work, childcare, and everyday expenses.
  • Learning how to parent while navigating difficult circumstances.

At Bartow Family Resources, we believe parents don’t need judgment—they need support, encouragement, and someone willing to walk alongside them.
