Walk Alongside Fathers Who Need Support, Encouragement, and Hope

At Bartow Family Resources, we believe strong fathers help build strong families. Through BFR Academy, we come alongside dads who are navigating the challenges of parenting, relationships, responsibility, and personal growth.

Right now, we are looking for men who are willing to step into a meaningful role as Dad Coaches — mentors who walk alongside fathers to encourage, equip, and provide practical tools to lead their families well in Cartersville, Bartow County, and communities throughout Northwest Georgia

You don’t have to be a perfect dad.
You just have to be a willing one.

What Is a Dad Coach?

A Dad Coach is more than a volunteer…

  • A mentor
  • A listener
  • A steady presence
  • A source of encouragement
  • A man willing to invest in another father’s journey

Many dads in our program are working through real-life challenges — broken relationships, financial stress, parenting struggles, emotional wounds, and the everyday messiness of life and parenting.

Your role is not to “fix” them. Your role is to walk beside them.

As a Dad Coach, you will help fathers:

  • Build confidence as parents
  • Develop healthy family leadership
  • Learn practical parenting skills
  • Stay accountable to personal goals
  • Navigate difficult seasons with support
  • Grow spiritually and emotionally

Through simple conversations, consistent encouragement, prayer, and authentic mentorship, you can help change the trajectory of a family for generations.

Why Dad Coaches Matter

Research consistently shows that involved fathers have a powerful impact on their children’s emotional, social, educational, and spiritual development

But many fathers have never had someone invest in them.

That’s where you come in.

At Bartow Family Resources, we believe fathers deserve support too. Many dads simply need another man to say:

  • “You’re not alone.”
  • “You can do this.”
  • “Here’s what helped me.”
  • “Keep showing up.”

A Dad Coach creates space for growth, honesty, and transformation.

And often, the smallest moments make the biggest impact.
